Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together the oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
In a medium bowl, cream bananas, and apple sauce together until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla extract until combined.
Pour the liquid mixture into the oats mixture and stir just until combined. Stir in raisins.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking spray. Using two tablespoons of dough per cookie, roll into balls.
Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes or just until they start to turn light, golden brown on top.
Cool 5 minutes on sheets, then transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
You can make different oatmeal cookie varieties using this healthy oatmeal cookie recipe. So instead of raisins, you can add chocolate chips.
